- Includes (1) one 16.5 inch long x 0.5" wide Teflon Strip Adhesive Backed Tape with a blue Liner. Fits virtually all FoodSaver series, including 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, GameSaver and Professional, as well as virtually all Weston, Cabella's, Nesco and Rival Seal-A-Meal models. It serves as a replacement for most any plastic sealing machine that uses Teflon Tape.
- Replaces deteriorated or burnt-out Teflon tape / PTFE tape, which is a crucial barrier between the heating element and the bag in your machine. Old tape causes poor sealing and can lead to a broken heating element / sealer. Moisture leads to tape failure. The longer moisture is left under the tape the greater likelyhood of the metal wire failing. Try and keep the area dry.
- Strips are slightly wider and longer than necessary - easily cut them down to the right size for your model. Strips should be replaced when they appear worn, discolored or if sealing isn't solid. The tape goes down into the holes with the wire. You can place the tape over the holes and not worry about having to get the tape in the holes (in my experience it has never presented a problem.
- Peel and stick backing makes our vacuum sealer tape easy to apply. Simple-to-follow instructions included with package. Over the wire for vacuum sealers, under the wire for impulse sealers
- Ideal for virtually all FoodSaver models. Great for Weston Pro replacing worn out teflon tape for all Food and Impulse Sealers that utilize a heat strip and Teflon Tape to seal Plastic.
- Universal Teflon Tape Replacement Strips are for most plastic sealers, vacuum sealers. For Home and Business machines. 16 1/2" x 1/2" wide. This Tape is a better quality tape than what is provided with your machine originally. The Tape is folded in a Cellophane packaging. Folding the tape in no way presents any problem in performance, nor will it show.
